VP of Sales

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical VP of Sales to join our organization. The responsibilities of the VP of sales include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, reaching sales targets, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services. To be successful as a VP of Sales, you should have good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. As a VP of Sales, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and drive sales objectives and achieve commercial targets
  • Identify new sales opportunities and build client relationships
  • Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations
  • Provide strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance to the sales team
  • Ensure the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends and provide regular competitor analysis

We think you are a good fit if you have:

  • Located in the USA or UK
  • 8+ years of experience (mix of experience across business development, technical marketing, sales)
  • Experience in a major LiDAR company is a plus (or experience related to Point Clouds)
  • A deep understanding of the software and machine learning complexity
  • Understanding VLSI (FPGA/ASIC) is a big plus
  • Willingness to reach goals regardless of all circumstances, growth attitude, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods and employee motivation techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitors’ products, and the market.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience working for a high-growth startup is a plus

Phase 3: Case Study – depending on the role, we will prepare a case study that helps us determine your hard skills and you get familiar with what you can expect on the job.
